I wish I could create a continuously post like “Singapore Trip Day 1, Singapore Trip Day 2” and so on but heck I only spent about 10 hours there, haha. So here's the prologue, now I’m gonna intersect 3 posts based on the destination, first was The Science Center, second was The River Safari *insert dramatic background sound here* and the last was The Merlion Park (I know, I know, too mainstream) I think the main reason why me and Widi was extremely fatigue during the trip maybe because our lack of sleep the night before departure, and again, I was very unprepared, again, and I think the main reason why I procrastinated my preparation was because I’m still a lil bit unsure about the trip, like “Are we really gonna do this?” but well maybe because I think that would be a short one day trip so meh I shouldn’t prepare anything. I remembered my first trip to Singapore I was sooo ready for my luggage from the D-2 departure, and I am not a very procrastinator at my second trip either. I’m still not very confident about what should I wear until the last minute, haha. But, whatever, anyway, I’m pretty sure I was fallen asleep at 12, and woke up at 3 because we took the earliest flight it was 7…7 maybe, I think, okay it was 06.30 at our boarding pass (By the way I did the online check in by my self haaaa so proud, duh what a shame). My Dad drove us to the Bus Station, I also took Bus to the airport on my second trip, we arrive at exactly 4 minus 5 or so but the bus was already gone so we have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes until the another one. I have to admit that I was very anxious what if we were late. I took the window seat at the bus, of course, Widi was fell asleep the moment our bus was took off, I’m still wandering the dawn, listening to my favorite song, I always love riding a big and comfortable transportation such as bus or train. The traffic was quite fast, no jam or anything, I got very excited when we almost reach the airport area, I remembered on my second trip I was busy recording the view for my Instagram Story, but this time I just enjoyed it, the sun was also barely seen (Widi was still sleeping), the next thing I know what tears were started to fallen from my eyes, and I’m getting used to it, I am always quite emotional when things had something to do with hashtag #airplane #plane #airport #aviation and stuff, I can’t precisely know why, but it always make me cry, emotions are overflowing in my heart knowing that I like it so very much and dying to work in this kind of field. I really love watching the planes on the lane, few of them were moving and the rest was stand still. And there, maybe around 6 we arrived at Terminal 2E, the same with my second trip (Obviously because we took the same airline which is AirAsia). Still dawn, no sunlight and it was cold inside the airport, veeeery cold. Then we wait until the departure. I’m so glad me and Widi were sit to each other at the plane (There’s a chance that we might separate by the hallway), I want window seat again so I changed with Widi. Well, the flight was not quite enjoyable, my ear hurt very bad, when we almost landed to Singapore I squeezed Widi’s hand so hard because the pain in my ear was very unbearable, felt like it’s going to explode, but people say that it’s a common thing to someone with vertigo like me, and I always have trouble when I fly, the choice of pain is either on the head or the ear, no escape. I still kinda dizzy and a lil bit sick at the moment my foot was stepped on Singapore’s land, and I also found out that when I was struggling with the pain in my ear, Widi was also having a nausea. We landed at 10.30 Singapore time, according to Widi, because I was unaware with the time, hehe. We took some water, and walked in. I follow every direction to the MRT Station, funny thing is, I think we arrived at the exact same spot with my second trip, but the path that we took might be different because we didn’t took any security check, at all, no such thing as the female security asked me to took off my long vest and check the bottom of my docmart, I think that’s very ridiculous but I knew she’s only following the protocol, the space on my vest and boots-like-shoe are good for hiding suspicious stuff too, perhaps. But seriously no security check at all, there’s only the immigration where we got out passports stamped. And I don’t think that we took the wrong path either because we arrived at the sky station to the MRT, safely, no such thing as lost or so. Apparently those directions on Changi Airport is very ‘human friendly’ cause seriously I am suck at reading maps or directions, literally. But at there I was turned into someone like a direction-reader-guru, haha. And Widi said that we don’t need a guide or anyone else. Maklum lah 2 kali gue kesana tiketnya dibeliin terus haha, tinggal tap doang, wkwk. Bah! Nailed it! Pertama yang Widi perhatiin pasti adalah fisiknya, typical judging something by its cover, huh? Dimana dulu pas gue mau ke Jurong Bird Park dan ngelewatin itu, Fariz duduk next to a boy who read a text book about Aviation Engineering or something like that, poor kid. Hey, if there’s any Aviation Psychology major in Singapore then I bet I wouldn’t be here anyway, I’ll work my ass off to get a scholarship in there. *tbc*
