This is probably one of the most exciting post to write. Despite how stressful and chaotic my office were lately, there are several good things happened to me in a row. Oh, I love making lists! As I write this I also create a gratitude journal in my faux Hobonichi. Which drives me in a confusion, should I post in on my personal blog or my planner blog? I’m gonna talk a lot about planner stuffs but also some personal stuff, aaaand…because this is a special post, I’m gonna post on both! There comes another question, my planner blog is 100% English and my personal blog is mixed language, so, due to some content that I want to hide, I’ll mix Indonesian and English there.
Did I mention that I love making list? (Yes I did) So here’s my gratitude list for this month, can you believe it’s still in the beginning of June? But I already had so many things to be grateful of, which is pretty rare if you know me, usually my life has been surrounded by misery. June’s Gratitude:

After many days been searching and searching and searching, I finally found you. Though this may not be a happy story, I just had to share it anyway.
Here's my journey to got my Leuchtturm and quick review when I finally get my hands on it... Well...I don't know how to share the good news but my Instagram is now has more than 1000 followers! Another planner inspo account featured me and bam, now I'm over 1k.
So happy and grateful. With this post I would like to say thank you for anyone out there who followed The Blue Planner and give your lovely comments about my planning stuff. I know 1k is a small number for some people but it's one of my big goal and I'm so glad when I finally achieved it. First of all, I am over the moon because finally after many times I tag several Bujo featuring account, one of them is finally featured me, and on the last three days, I gained like about 60 new followers, that's a big number for me. And I decided to do more, so I posted for the first time on Bullet Journal Junkies Facebook group and the response are delightful! Also now my followers are 989, eek so close to 1K! I'm very nervous. The compliments are flooding and I am in the spirit of creating a new one, this is it.
Hi everyone, so I'm back after my engagement party, hehe. Will catch up with wedding planner soon but now I'm gonna show you my week 19 in my Bujo.
I finally took photos of this reading tracker. Fyuh…
Winter book. In the middle of Spring. Haha. Good morning! (Well it’s not actually morning, it’s 10.30 am in Indonesia, hehe, feels like morning to me)
So the week fourteen has not literally pass but my working days is only Monday to Friday and today is Saturday so yeah it’s been done, so does my week fourteen spread in my new bullet journal that I already set up for the rest of April. I am excited to begin my journey with my bujo, but not too excited because, you know, it’s not 100% what I really want from a bujo. But I continue anyway, so here’s my week fourteen spread in my bujo. Hi, let me introduce myself, my name is Pinta, I'm 24 y.o. I'm from Indonesia. And I am the Blue Planner :) If you see my Instagram account, you can see that I'm obsessed with blue and combine it with my newest addiction, which is planner (well it's not that new, it's almost 2 years that I called my self as planner addict). And I think I'm pretty good at it, so I dig deeper in this field. My newest notebook for bullet journal have come two days ago, and I have to admit not everything came as what I expected, so have I have to do some adjustments. And I'm not very happy with that. But I've been vacuuming from planning activity for about 2 months, so when I got a new notebook (even it's disappointing), I plan a lot! And as you can see, here's the final look of my bullet journal right now. **My laptop has driven me nuts so I had to postpone this post and wait until tomorrow at work so I can use my office's computer** So I'll tell ya what's happen. I always love bullet journaling in a dotted paper, I like it more than grid paper, but somehow I think I might need squared paper too. So few months ago, well okay, last year, I decided to order a custom notebook. It's not that I don't want Leuchtturm, I want it so bad. but it's nowhere to be found in Indonesia, so hard seems like no one is selling them, I want to buy online but the shipping cost took me so much. Usually I don't like to go mainstream when it comes to planner choice, I know everyone is using Leuchtturm and I want one too! Especially the Nordic Blue. At second I want to purchase Cognitive Surplus's soft cover notebook in dotted page, looks like the stitching is good and the solar system themed cover is gorgeous too, and it's quite cheap, only 10 USD, about twenty on shipping, but somehow I thought I want a hardcover notebook (too bad Leuchtturm is softcover too). So I decided to create my own perfect bullet journal like I've always wanted. And I ordered it online, a custom notebook, I gave my own design, I asked for 50 pages dotted and 50 pages grid, and its also hardcover. When it came and I see the cover it was so pretty, I like it so much tough the printing quality is kinda bad, the pages weren't straight. But I continue to used it. After few weeks, it torn apart. It breaks my heart that my perfect bullet journal is broken and cannot be fixed. I try to bullet journaling in ring binder after that, I printed dotted paper and punch the hole and insert it to my Kikki K Ice Blue inspired planner, but it doesn't feels right. I'm still planning and journaling in other books too, but, looks like I'm losing my spirit. So I decided to buy a new one, I searched on AliExpress, I found a journal which is very similar with Leuchtturm because it has an elastic band strap on it, and also available in Blue, and ooooh it's hardcover! But pity the dotted page is sold out and the seller said that the factory is no longer producing that journal again, HEARTBREAK! Even the ruled or grid options are still available, but I prefer the dotted. And I found another one, tough this one is softcover, and the detail said that it's paper is grid and dotted. So I purchased it, along with a PVC cover that has a little down design, so cute, I think. Both of the size that I ordered is A5, so I thought it would be fit, but it's not. Goooood it really pissed me off, the cover is bigger than the book, okay okay okay, so I try to calm down, maybe the cover will fit in another kind of journal, planner, book, or anything, BUT IT'S NOT! I am very devastated knowing that my $4.55 cover will be useless. I also figured out another unpleasing fact, so in my mind the inside paper would be 50:50, 50% dotted and 50% grid, but what happened is the grid is 80% and the dotted is 20%. If I would have known that I'm gonna mostly use a grid paper I'm gonna purchased the hardcover one! This is so very frustating :( aaaaand, the paper of my bullet journal right now is not thick, so I can see my writings from the back of the page. Actually the thickness dimention of the journal also disappointing but I'm tired of complaining. So here's my bullet journal right now. I hope I'll get along with it because we both are the same, Imperfect :) |
